Too Faced Love Palette Review

I've only just really begun purchasing more high end make up products as I was never one to care about what was trending when it cost a ridiculous amount of money for it. I mean, have you seen some of the prices for make up these days?! It's a joke. It seems silly to me to spend almost £40 on an eyeshadow palette or a foundation but hey, that's just me, I'm cheap. 😂

But when I was browsing through TKMaxx recently and came across this Love palette from the popular brand Too Faced, I thought I'd give it a go and see what all the hype was about, espcially seeing as I have the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and I love it! Considering this is usually priced at £39, I was more than chuffed to get it for £15. What a bargain ✌

The first thing I loved about this palette was the packaging. It's super cute, girly af and sturdy to keep the eyeshadows from falling all over the place. The shades are tactically placed into aesthetically pleasing sections that blend well together to create certain looks which is a great idea for make up beginners like myself 😊 From natural to glamour, if you look on the side of the mirror, it comes with little cards which show you how to create these looks, cute right?

The shadows themselves are lovely and shimmery, they blend beautifully and look stunning when applied, lasting most of the day. I've heard rave reviews about Too Faced palettes so had relatively high expectations and this did not disappoint. It doesn't really have much of a scent to the palette unlike most other palettes from the brand but it doesn't matter, it's still a worthy buy. I love that it comes with an eye pencil and a smudger to add intensity too. ❤ It could have done with being a brown eye pencil perhaps, but either way, it's still great.

All in all, I've fallen in love with this palette as I'm hugely into shimmery shades rather than matte and it has definitely spurred on a need for collecting their other palettes! 🙈 Being a beginner at make up and slowly learning through Youtube tutorials, this is a great addition to my eyeshadow collection that will be used on a daily basis and recommended any time.

Baby Halloween Costumes

So it's finally my favourite time of the year - Autumn!
The days get shorter and crispier, the cosy jumper dresses come out and it's pumpkin spice season 😍
Along with all that, it's quickly approaching Halloween which is my favourite holiday and I'm super excited to sit in with my little family, watching Halloween movies and eating candy. Unfortunately Cassius is still way too young to properly celebrate but that doesn't mean he can't dress up 😏 I know it's a little bit early still but it's easier for me to plan ahead these days as I don't get much time to myself!
I'm really struggling to find an outfit for him but here are some of the options I've come across and absolutely LOVE.

Please note: all the following pics are from google and pinterest, I don't claim credit at all. If I could find the original owners and credit them all I would but alas, I can't trace them all back!
Please comment if any of them belong to you and you want to be credited ^-^

I especially adore the Up and Nightmare Before Christmas outfits, they are just freaking adorable ❤
But they are all amazing and I can only hope to make Cass look that cool on Halloween as he's growing up.

What do you think? Any suggestions for baby Cass's first Halloween costume?

My Celebrity Girl Crushes

In the spirit of Fashion Week where models and celebrities dress to impress, I wanted to do a post on my top celebrity girl crushes. I've always been the type of person that obsesses over celebrities when I see them rock a look that I love, like the entire Victoria Secret line up, and at the end of the day, who doesn't love women? We are beautiful, fierce and powerful af. So without further ado, here are just a handful of women that inspire me and continue to amaze me with their incredible grace and beauty on a daily basis.
I'm not gay, but I totally would be for any one of these babes.
♥ Adriana Lima
She is Queen of VS and a mum of 2 who looks incredible. I can only dream of aging as beautifully.
♥ Emilia Clarke
Ooft, Khaleesi. 'Nuff said.
♥ Bella Hadid
She's been growing on me lately with her unique style and I way prefer her to Gigi. Don't hate me.
♥ Kate Beckinsale
Ever since seeing her as Selene in Underworld, she will always be my wcw.
♥ Holland Roden
Love her character in Teen Wolf but also love her face. I mean, c'mon. Flawless.
♥ Sophie Turner
Such an underrated beauty. She reminds me of a young Jessica Rabbit.
♥ Isla Fisher
She is sexy and cute all wrapped into one tiny, big boobed, package. I just wanna squish her.
♥ Bella Thorne
She may be off her rocker, but she's damn hot, you've gotta admit.
♥  Margot Robbie
If you don't fancy the pants off Margot Robbie, what world are you even on? Wolf of Wall Street. Watch it.
♥ Alexandra Daddario
Her eyes are to die for. And she has the body of a greek goddess. Phwoar.
♥ Emeraude Toubia
I'm digging her exotic look, she's stunning and sassy af in Shadowhunters.
♥ Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
My first ever model crush. I just can't. Not normally into blondes but she is on another level.

There's about a million other girls that I'm crushing on but I'll stop here so not to go on forever :P
Who are your celebrity girl crushes? Do we share any?

Favourite Disney Quotes

I've not been feeling very well this last week and had a horrible weekend with my first post-baby period (sorry for the TMI) but holy shit, nobody warned me how much pain I was gonna be in >.<

Therefore, this isn't gonna be a hugely long post as I'll let the quotes do the talking.

haven't really done many Disney posts since starting my blog so I thought my favourite quotes would be a good place to start things off! Disney has always been such a huge part of my life and these are just some of the quotes that have taught me important lessons in life and have stuck with me over the years...

August Favourites

Hello September!
My favourite season is almost upon us and I'm so excited for crisp mornings, cosy nights in, warm jumpers, cute boots and lots of hot chocolate ✌

I've been meaning to do a favourites post at the end of every month since I started my blog back in June but my baby brain has been making remembering anything that's not baby related pretty difficult lately, hence my spaced out blog posts - I promise I'll get better! 😅

But anyway, I always love reading through other blogger's monthly favourites; I'm so easily influenced to buy products that I like the look of through these kinda posts and thought it's about time I do my own selection of random goodies that I've enjoyed throughout the month!

So lets get to it~

Batiste Dry Shampoo Cherry • £2.99
This stuff is my go to for sprucing my hair up throughout the week when Cassius doesn't give me the luxury of washing my hair! It works a treat and smells ah-may-zing so will always be one of my fave hair products.

Sailor Mars Pop Vinyl • £9.99
I was given this Pop for Christmas last year and it's so damn cute, I love it. I've always loved Sailor Moon & Sailor Mars and I can't wait to collect the rest.
Mickey Mouse Ears Glitter Phone Case • £4.99
I bought this adorable phone case from ebay a little while back and it's so sparkly, I can't stop staring at it. The perfect mix between girly and disney.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara • £19
My ride or die mascara. I'm quite a newbie when it comes to make up, especially high end brands but this is by far the best mascara I've ever used. My lashes have never looked better and it lasts all day with no smudge. Total god send!

Loreal Paris True Match Powder Highlight Icy Glow • £8.99

I love this highlight, it's non-expensive, so shiny and a little goes a long way so what's not to love?! I bought Icy Glow for my pale complexion and it's so pretty on the skin.

Riverdale • Netflix
I'm a little late to the party but I started watching Riverdale last week and marathoned it so quickly. It's a nice change from all the fantasy programmes that dominate my life. Cheryl and Jughead are my favourite characters and I'm excited for Season 2 in October! If you like teen dramas then check this out 👍

Stella McCartney Handbag • £870
Last but not least, I was treated to this bag this week whilst in London with my boyfriend and his dad & I instantly fell in love with it - it's so sparkly and beautiful, although I'm probably never going to wear it out as it was so ridiculously expensive, I'd be way too nervous that I'd damage or lose it...🙈
