Christmas With Femme Luxe ~ AD-Gifted

I know my last post was all about my grand return to blogging in the summer only for me to then go radio silent for almost 4 months, but life has just been so hectic with birthdays and work and general day to day life that I've genuinely had no time to sit down and write. But here I am back to it, hopefully on a regular basis again so what better than a Christmas themed clothing review to freshen things up around here? Grab yourself a cuppa and check out these pretty pieces that I've chosen for the festive period ♡

As a working mum to a very active toddler, I don't get much time to go out and shop without risking the chance that he'll throw a tantrum, let alone actually getting dolled up and feeling confident and put together instead of the usual hot mess that I am. So when I received an email from Femme Luxe asking if I was interested in collaborating with them and choosing 4 pieces to review here on my blog, I jumped at the chance since it's Christmas time and there's so many reasons to get glammed up! Whether it's for a work party, Christmas day or New Year's Day, it's always nice to have options this time of year.

Femme Luxe is a relatively new online brand that specializes in the latest influencer inspired fashion trends at an affordable price. They have a huge range of gorgeous clothing from going out, to lounge wear, to casual every day pieces that will make you look and feel like you've spent way more money than you actually have. They regularly have flash sales and discounts and also have Klarna so you can treat yourself on a budget and pay 30 days later when it's closer to pay day! Perfect for us busy mummys that want to keep up with the current trends without breaking the bank. 👌

Let's start with the only dress that I chose from their site which is this absolutely beautiful wine velvet bodycon dress that just screams Christmas. With gold chain straps and the most luxurious feel to it, this dress is a big contender for my New Year's Eve outfit. It hugs my curves perfectly which I need in a dress these days as I have very little bust to rely on and it's not too short that I feel like I'm going to flash people when I lean down so win-win! 😍 It also comes in black and red which would be equally as festive, I just preferred this deep wine colour against my pale skin. Check out their collection of bodycon dresses.

Next up is this black sequin mesh bodysuit that I paired with a black velvet midi skirt from my wardrobe (not from Femme Luxe) that I think is the perfect touch of sparkle for those of us that like to wear a lot of black but not look like we're going to a funeral 😋 With a ribbed mesh overlay, this has quickly become one of my favourite bodysuits as it's not only comfortable and a good quality material which can be hard to find in some bodysuits, but it's glittery and pretty which makes it a great option to pair with a simple skirt or pair of trousers to glam up your outfit with minimum effort. This is also available in rose gold which is a stunning alternative! Check out their collection of bodysuits.

Then I went for something a little more casual but still very cute with this white mesh organza puff sleeve bodysuit paired with a wine corset style peplum skirt from my wardrobe (again, not from Femme Luxe). I chose this because puff sleeves have been so popular on social media lately that I wanted to try them out and I was not disappointed, they're super chic and girly 💗 The only thing I disliked about this outfit was how baggy the bodysuit looked around my waist once I put my skirt on, but that could be down to me having the wrong size, not the products fault, so I still recommend! You can dress this pretty bodysuit up or down so it's still a staple and will get much use out of in the spring. This comes in black too. Check out their collection of bodysuits.

And last but not least is this gorgeous black mesh panel wide leg jumpsuit that I have fallen madly in love with and never want to take off! 😻 I've never been a jumpsuit girl as I've always been aware of how skinny I am and how they make me look like a stick but I've finally found one that hugs me in all the right places and makes me feel confident and comfortable at the same time. The material is almost satin like and is so light and airy that you can't even feel you're wearing it. I'm definitely torn between this and the wine dress that I spoke about at the beginning of this post for New Year's Eve. Check out their collection of jumpsuits.

Overall I was really impressed with the clothes I received from Femme Luxe and would definitely recommend them if you haven't tried them before. The quality of all the clothes were better than I was expecting for a fast fashion website, the fit was basically spot on, and the prices are all reasonable! Obviously I chose more going out items for this post due to the time of year but if you have a browse on their website you'll see the wide variety of options for all sorts of occasions.  They keep up to date with the recent fashion trends so it's worth checking up every few weeks to see what's new! 💫

What was your favourite from the products mentioned?

Have you tried anything from Femme Luxe?

Disclaimer:  This post is in collaboration with Femme Luxe. I was kindly gifted these items for the purpose of a review. I was not paid in any way to write this review. All opinions are my own and I would only recommend products I would and have used myself.
